Torture doesn't even work that well.
You have to do it in a very specific way to not get false intel.
Incentives work better for most people. |

Not that I would know from experience, but I am sure a can of worms can be opened by raising this topicGÇöand that's disregarding the deviant proclivities of those who frequent these channels.
If I hate someone enough to want to inflict such suffering, I usually will at least have the self control to give them an honorable and quick death.
Only a savage man doesn't show respect to those he destroys. The respect isn't for them, it's for you.
If we are to make a practical argument for this modern honor,
True fear is knowing what that person is capable of doing to you, and watching him choose not to do it. For now.
If you can put your enemy in that captive state of mind, they will be as putty in your hands. |

Come now Lyris, you have honor. Enough with the edge lord capsuleer ****. |

I hope she does so I can pod her.
Nothing personal, but I'm sure a Diana Kim corpse would fetch a hefty sum.
Much like yours, my dear. |

My Dearest Kimmie. Gallente did nothing wrong. Do not get angry.

That's terribly ignorant of you. Nothing wrong?! Now I consider shall I put a challenge to you like I did to that clown Syagrius, or you will take your *** into your hands and will go find facts yourself before I push your nose into them to display it to whole IGS? But yes, there goes actually a question, are you simply ignorant loudmouth, jumping into conclusion without even bothering to check the facts, or you are deliberately cruel and inhuman gallentean propagandist, trying to hide obvious truth, that every capsuleer with working head can easily uncover? Oh well, to remove ambiguity I will point out clearly. The topic was about torture and Galelnte are known for their inhuman tortures of Caldari POWs in hidden prisons in Black Rise (which aren't hidden to capsuleers, who can use probe scanners). Claiming that "Gallente did nothing wrong" obviously contradicts this fact (and many others which I won't list here, since just this one is more than enough... for a start... and because that would be way far out of scope of the current discussion).
Was expecting at least two angry paragraphs.
Wasn't disappointed.

Uh, was the question "Are you a Gallente propagandist"?
That's a bit like asking someone "So when did you stop beating your wife"?
Except not even a skillful manipulator of words like yourself can put me on the backfoot with that nonsense, because my CONCORD/DED Standings list speaks for itself.
